Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe admits he needs to consider where his squad needs to be strengthened ahead of the market opening next month.
Simon Francis is out for the season with a knee injury.
Asked whether his captain's setback would impact on his thinking ahead of the upcoming transfer window, Howe replied: “I'd be lying if I said it hasn't and I have had those conversations but we will wait and see what happens.
“Nothing has been decided we have made no moves in the market at all at the moment. I think it's a case of still seeing what options we have available to us.
“It would be foolish of me to make that promise and pledge but we are looking at what we can do."
