Bournemouth boss Howe: I feel as low as I've felt here

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe admits he's feeling low after defeat to Crystal Palace last night.

The Eagles saw defender Mamadou Sakho dismissed for a dangerous tackle after 20 minutes but stole all three points through Jeffrey Schlupp's second-half finish.

Howe told the BBC: "The feeling coming off is as low as I've felt as Bournemouth manager.

"The players gave everything, we played like a team lacking in confidence and that can happen in football.

"I don't think there is a lack of effort and I don't think the players walked off not caring about what they delivered, they care deeply.

"When you are in my shoes you are looking at the coaching side and what your team is delivering and what you worked on and that is why that hurt so much."
