Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is happy to see Kieran Trippier shining with Tottenham.
The England star linked up with Howe at Burnley as a 20-year-old, initially on loan from Manchester City in July 2011.
Six months later, Trippier made the move permanent and went on to play 185 games for the Clarets.
Howe told the Daily Echo: “I'm so proud of his development and so pleased for him.
“He is a great lad and I really enjoyed working with him.
“He was a positive guy, wanted to do well, had a point to prove and was desperate to succeed.
“To see him playing in the World Cup was brilliant for him and his family."
