Bournemouth boss Howe fears losing Southampton keeper Boruc

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is unsure about keeping hold of Artur Boruc.

The Poland goalkeeper is on-loan from Southampton.

Howe told the Daily Echo: "Artur has been a really important part of the good run we have been on. He is popular in the dressing room and we have certainly enjoyed working with him and would love to keep him.

"It is not really in our hands, as such, but we will do everything we can to try to keep the squad together and he would be a very important part of that.

"His shot-stopping ability is there for everyone to see. He is a presence in the 18-yard box and the team has done very well since he has come in.

"When you have a good balance about your team, you are very keen to keep it together and, hopefully, we will be able to do that.

"We will have to wait and see what happens. Artur is out of contract at the end of the season so there are a lot of things to consider. But, from our perspective, we are keen to see him stay."
