Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is excited by the potential of Sam Surridge.
The 21-year-old striker, in to face FA Cup opponents Arsenal tonight, was recalled on New Year's Day from a loan spell at Championship Swansea.
Surridge then penned a fresh four-and-a-half year contract with Cherries two days later.
Howe told the Daily Echo: “I definitely think he's come back in a good place, physically, mentally.
“I think he showed that when he came on (against Watford), it was a bright little cameo for him. And he's shown in training he's a very, very good finisher.
“The challenge for us will be to create those openings for him. I think if we do, he will score.
“I think he's shown that already in his short career in his various loan spells, so pleased for Sam."
