Eddie Howe was delighted with Bournemouth's display in the win over Everton on Sunday.
A double from Callum Wilson made the difference against Marco Silva's side.
Speaking after the game, Howe said: "I was really, really pleased. You don't want to go too long without winning at home. This league is hard enough but you are reliant on your home form.
"We knew the importance of the game and it's a great win against a good team.
"I think this season we are only going to get stronger when we have more players back from injury. The group is really strong when we have a full compliment of players, we have options in every position.
"This win gives the strength of the group real confidence."
