Bournemouth boss Howe convinced of big things from Ofoborh

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is convinced of big things from Nnamdi Ofoborh.

The 20-year-old midfielder is set to represent loan club Wycombe in the League One play-off final (7.30pm), when they take on Oxford United for the place in the Championship.

Howe told the Daily Echo: “I think it's been a hugely productive loan spell for Nnamdi.

“I think, great credit to Gareth Ainsworth for the job that he's done at Wycombe and for the way that he's developed Nnamdi.

“I think he took a little bit of time to get into the team.

“But that's all part of the process of going on loan, dealing with that and handling that and coming back and keep improving.

“His forced his way into the team and now he's performing really well."

Howe added: “I've always said with Nnamdi, you couldn't meet a nicer lad. You couldn't meet someone who's more dedicated and harder working.

“Always got a big smile on his face. Someone I've got a lot of time for, so we wish him well in the final."
