Bournemouth attacker Marcus Tavernier insists they deserve to stay up.

The Cherries are out of the bottom three after victory over Fulham on Saturday.

Goalscorer Tavernier said afterwards: "The last few months have been difficult due to injury, I returned, but I got injured again, I was out again.

"Today, in the second half, we managed to show that we deserve to be in the big leagues."

Bournemouth, now sitting 15th on the table, next face Brighton.
