Bournemouth attacker Emiliano Marcondes admits he was open to leaving Dean Court this summer.
Marcondes, formerly of Brentford, fielded interest from a raft of clubs, including Malmö FF, FC Midtjylland, Bröndby IF and FC Nordsjälland.
He told the Athletic: "I was open to see what was out there, because (Scott) Parker didn't really want to look at me. I wanted to stay, but if he didn't really want to use me, which he told me and also in the press, I would of course look for other opportunities.
"But I'm glad it didn't go through and that I stayed here. When Parker was fired, I saw it as a new challenge and now I can really try to get into the team."
