Aston Villa are showing considerable interest in AFC Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.

Reports suggest that Villa are pondering a summer move for the 23-year old who netted 20 goals for the Cherries in their Championship-winning campaign.

Villa went after Wilson in January but were not keen on paying the £7million they were quoted by the Dorset club.

The Tim Sherwood-managed Villans are putting in place contingency plans in case star striker Christian Benteke leaves this off-season and Wilson has become one of their top attacking targets.
