Bournemouth whizkid David Brooks has big aspirations after making his Premier League debut in Saturday's win over Cardiff City.

The Welshman, signed from Sheffield United this summer, hopes he can impress Wales manager Ryan Giggs, who was in attendance at the Vitality Stadium.

He told the Daily Echo: "It was a nice touch. I want to be in his eye-line and push my way into the Wales team.

"Hopefully, I gave a good account of myself and get called up to show what I can do in the next Wales camp."
