Boubacar Kamara has more than doubled his wages by leaving Olympique Marseille for Aston Villa.
The France U21 midfielder will formally sign for Villa at the end of next month when his OM contract expires.
Local reporter Sacha Tavolieri says Kamara's deal with Villa will be worth £60m in total over the five years.
The midfielder was on €250,000-a-month at OM.
Kamara, 22, came through the OM youth system before choosing to leave for Villa this summer.
