League OneSouthend United boss Phil Brown says he is concentrating on his players after being linked with the vacant Bolton post.
The former Hull boss is reportedly being sought after by the struggling Championship club who parted company with Neil Lennon last week and lost 6-0 to Bristol City on Saturday.
Speaking to BBC Essex, Brown said: "I have had no approach from Dean Holdsworth.
Speculation can take our players and my eye off the ball and that's the last thing you need at this stage of the season".
