Bosnian striker Muslimovic arrives at Rangers for trial

Bosnian international striker Zlatan Muslimovic has arrived at Rangers for a trial and talks regarding a possible deal.

The 30-year old has been out of contract since May when he finished up with Greek club PAOK and has traveled to Glasgow after being highly recommended by 'Gers defender Sasa Papac for whom he plays internationally with.

The players agent, Mate Jozipovic, indicated that a deal may be struck as Muslimovic is in good enough shape to make an impression at Murray Park.

"If something was to happen with Rangers, it would be good for the player and the club," he said.

"He last played in Greece but has been training with the national team since then."

Muslimovic, who has played 33 times for Bosnia, has spent most of his career in Italy, kicking off with Udinese in 2000 where had a number of loan deals with the likes of Padova, Messina and Parma before joining Atalanta in 2007. From there he moved to PAOK in July 2008 before departing mid last year.
