Chelsea's Nathan Ake is the subject of interest from a pair of German Bundesliga clubs.

According to reports, Borussia Monchengladbach and VfB Stuttgart are both keen on the 20-year-old Dutchman whose future at Stamford Bridge is uncertain.

Ake spent part of last season on loan at Reading and is unlikely to feature much in Jose Mourinho's plans this term as the Blues look to defend their Premier League title.

Both Monchengladbach and Stuttgart have enquired about a season-long loan for Ake who can be deployed as a left-back or a defensive midfielder.
