Borussia Dortmund teen Bellingham becomes youngest Englishman to score in Champions League

Borussia Dortmund teen Jude Bellingham has becomes the youngest Englishman to score in the Champions League.

At 17 years and 289 days, the Borussia Dortmund midfielder rewrote the record books when he opened the scoring in the German side's quarter-final second leg against Manchester City.

In the end City struck twice and progressed 4-2 on aggregate but it remained an historic night for the ex-Birmingham City star.

Bellingham saw a goal in the first leg chalked off for a foul but was not to be denied this time as he took a touch before firing into the top corner for his first goal in Europe.

He also scored his first Bundesliga goal last weekend, netting in the win over Stuttgart.
