Borussia Dortmund will be without star winger Jadon Sancho against Manchester City on Wednesday.

City and Dortmund face off in the second leg of their Champions League quarter final, with City 2-1 up from the first leg.

While 21-year-old Sancho is recovering from a thigh problem, the England international will not be back to face the team he left to join Dortmund.

Dortmund interim coach Edin Terzic told reporters: "Jadon won't be at our disposal.

"He trained again, he is doing his best, we would like to have him available but he won't be.

"We have to take our time with him."
