Borussia Dortmund scrap tight deadline for Man Utd to agree Sancho fee

Borussia Dortmund are willing to extend the deadline to sell Jadon Sancho.

It was claimed Manchester United would have to close a deal for the England winger by the weekend as BVB wanted a decision over the player before preseason kicked off.

However, Ruhr Nachrichten says Dortmund are willing to extend their initial self-imposed transfer deadline to August 20 to allow United to complete a deal.

Senior United sources always believed Dortmund's self-imposed deadline of August 10 was 'meaningless', reports the Manchester Evening News and described it as 'artificial' since the summer transfer window actually closes on October 5.

BVB are demanding €120m to sell Sancho this summer.
