Borussia Dortmund rival Fiorentina for wantaway Liverpool striker Bobby Duncan

Borussia Dortmund have joined the interest in wantaway Liverpool striker Bobby Duncan.

The Mirror says Dortmund will be in the running, should Liverpool decided to end Duncan's contract with the club.

The German giants are on alert over the possibility of signing the 18-year-old who has been at the centre of a major fall-out with the Reds this week.

The youngster's agent, Saif Rubie, accused Liverpool of 'mentally bullying' the striker after an initial bid from Fiorentina was blocked.

The Merseysiders were upset at the barbs and boss Jurgen Klopp took the unusual step of protecting the club's policies at their pre-match press conference ahead of yesterday's fixture at Burnley.

Dortmund have also pursued Birmingham City youngster Jude Bellingham who became the club's youngest-ever player when he made his debut at Swansea City last week.
