Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic has emerged as the first transfer target of new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

German website fussballinfo.net is reporting Subotic could follow his former manager to the Merseyside club once the January transfer window opens.

It is understood Klopp is looking to strengthen Liverpool's back-line and Subotic is a known quantity who was one of Klopp's favourites during his time in the Bundesliga.
