Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang bounced back from his Lisbon horror show with a significant contribution for Borussia Dortmund last night.
The Gabonese striker missed a host of chances in the 1-0 Champions League Round of 16 first loss to Benfica last month.
Aubameyang returned to scoring form in the Bundesliga before firing home a hat-trick in the 4-0 second leg victory at the Westfalenstadion, prompting words of praise from his boss Thomas Tuchel.
"Auba had to do the job and he did it," said Tuchel.
"It was extremely important that he scored twice in the last two league matches.
"You do not need to be scientific about it. You have to score as a forward and then you have a game like in Lisbon where you miss everything there is to miss.
"So it is up to your team mates to help you get out of it and they delivered as well."
