Fiorentina are reportedly interested in Liverpool's Fabio Borini as the Serie A club also continues their pursuit of Borini's Reds teammate Mario Balotelli.

Both Balotelli and Borini were left out of Brendan Rodgers' squad for Liverpool's pre-season tour of Australasia, as uncertainty over their futures at Anfield continues to mount.

Ballotelli has reportedly been on Fiorentina's radar for some time, with the possibility of a player swap involving Viola striker Mario Gomez heavily mooted.

However, the Daily Mail is reporting that Borini could now be joining Balotelli at the Stadio Artemio Franchi next season with Fiorentina reportedly keen on the forward.
