West Bromwich Albion boss Roberto di Matteo is determined to land Bordeaux winger Jaroslav Plasil.
Di Matteo wants to strengthen his midfield by signing Czech Republic international Plasil for £2m, says the Daily Mail.
Di Matteo is planning to move for the 28-year-old Bordeaux star in the January transfer window.
Plasil, who has over 50 caps for the Czech national team, played in the World Cup and at Euro 2008 and has also been watched by Sunderland.
