Bordeaux striker Fernando Cavenaghi has welcomed interest from Sunderland.
L'Equipe says the Black Cats have asked for information regarding the striker, who admits he would consider a move to the Stadium of Light.
"Why not? If a club wants to hire me, I have to think about it. That is part of a footballer's life," said Cavenaghi.
