Bordeaux midfielder Raoul Bellanova has revealed he had offers from England in January.

Manchester City almost snatched Bellanova from under Bordeaux's nose back in January, according to the player himself.

"Yes, I was close to Manchester City, but I was also asked by Tottenham, Juventus, Sampdoria, Bologna and many other teams," Bellanova said.

Bellanova ended up being loaned back to AC Milan following his move to Bordeaux at the start of the year.

However, the biggest impression he made at the San Siro was appearing in an embarrassing photobomb with Cristiano Ronaldo and Giorgio Chiellini.
