Bordalas: I could sense Valencia problems when I was there

Jose Bordalas says he could sense the problems at Valencia when he was in charge.

VCF are battling against relegation this season.

Former Valencia coach Bordalas said: "I perceived that it was dangerous, despite being there for a short time. But we were in a dynamic and in a very complex situation, different from what Valencia should be. And unfortunately this season what we saw or thought could happen is happening."

Despite this, Bordalas believes that "the team will be saved", which does not mean that he sees the situation "without sadness. It is sad that Valencia has to fight to stay up."

And to finish, Bordalás has defended his work in Mestalla: "I fulfilled the expectations and objectives, perhaps with a squad at the worst moment and in a very delicate situation. We reached the Cup final without losing any game. We finished the League ninth, without ever looking down. I think we did a very good job."
