Bookmakers shorten odds on Solskjaer getting Man Utd sack

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the subject of speculation about his future.

The Red Devils endured a miserable Champions League defeat to Young Boys in their first match of the group stages.

Despite taking the lead away from home through Cristiano Ronaldo, United had Aaron Wan-Bissaka sent off in the first half, and went on to lose the game 2-1.

Opta reports Solskjaer has lost seven of 11 Champions League games as manager.

Bookies now have Solskjaer as 2/1 to be sacked before the season concludes.

He is even 40/1 to become the first manager in the Premier League to lose their job this season.
