Bolton still hopeful of Cahill return

The return of defender Gary Cahill is still a priority for Bolton manager Owen Coyle.

Cahill was last week ruled out for the remainder of the season with a blood clot, but after having treatment for the problem, there is a massive chance he will return to the pitch at some stage.

Coyle admitted it was still too soon to tell but was very hopeful that the24-year old would be back in action soon.

"We don't want to get ahead of ourselves but the clot has dissolved and we'll revisit it in two weeks with a scan with a top specialist in that field," said Coyle.

"Having done that we will see what the picture is from there but there should be some news in two weeks and hopefully it will be of the better variety."
