Bolton Wanderers are not competing for Manchester United defender Wes Brown.
The Daily Mail says Bolton will not go for Brown despite being resigned to losing Gary Cahill.
Brown, 31, is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford but would like to stay in the North West.
Arsenal are favourites to land Cahill.
