Owen Garvan has linked up with Championship Bolton Wanderers on loan and conceded that his time at Crystal Palace would appear to be over. It is unlikely the 26 year old will be called back to Selhurst Park at the end of that agreement, with Neil Warnock having left the Irishman out of his 25-man Premier League squad.
He told the Bolton News: "There has been a lot of chopping and changing at Palace but I think the club has come on a hell of a lot in the last two years.
"I wish them well. I want to go and play football.
"There is a slim chance I'll be there next season, you never know, but I love being out there and getting the buzz on Saturday at 3pm. I want to continue that."
