MTK Budapest FC have played down reports linking Bolton with a move for striker Laszlo Lencse. Trotters boss Gary Megson was allegedly weighing up a move for the highly-rated 21-year-old when the transfer window reopens.

MTK director Laszlo Domonyai has denied the rumours that Bolton have made an approach for Lencse.

"The interest is unrealistic and not true," Domonyai told origo.hu.
