Bolton Wanderers defender Mark Connolly has joined Macclesfield Town on-loan.
Macc currently sit three points off the relegation zone, but the 20-year-old believes a spell in the Football League could be beneficial to his progress.
"I then spoke with the gaffer and he said it would be good for me to get some game time there.
"I've seen this season when they have played our first team that they are a very good side despite their league position.
"I'm looking forward to going there. It will be a new challenge for me." "I got a phone call from my agent after Tuesday night's reserve game saying there was interest from Macclesfield," he said.
