Bologna's commercial and marketing director Christoph Winterling has turned down an approach from Bologna.

Corriere dello Sport says Winterling has snubbed the opportunity to take up a similar role at Liverpool.

The German was offered a '€200m budget' if he moved to Anfield.

However, Winterling snubbed the approach.

The reason being “because of Bologna, because of the club's owner Joey Saputo, because of the city, where he feels that, with time, the club can have a 'bright future'."
