Bologna coach Thiago Motta was happy after their 1-1 draw with Sassuolo on Monday night.

Motta insists they showed good maturity to earn the point.

He said, “All the matches have a different story, today we faced a team that plays and lets play, which also compete in possession of the ball. Our intention was to create and advance together, sometimes we did it well and other times we had to defend ourselves, compact ourselves and not let them play.

"The team has been growing in the game and beyond, today I'm very happy because the boys gave everything on the pitch and were fantastic. We'll do the balance at the end of the season, as well as with the club to grow and strengthen the team.

"The next match will be very important to play, at home against a Roma who have great motivation and are having a good time. We have to prepare as much as possible to face this match."
