Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic says Roberto Soriano should be upset with Italy boss Roberto Mancini.

Soriano never played a minute for the Azzurri during their World Cup qualifying week.

“If he had been very attentive to what's going on at Bologna," Mihajlovic said at a press conference. “Mancini wouldn't bring Soriano to sit in the stands for three games.

“I didn't expect zero minutes in three games. He's the best Italian midfielder and it didn't feel right.

“Having known, it would have been better if he stayed with us. I didn't like it; I speak as the coach of Bologna and as a friend of Mancini. Three times in the stands against… who?

“Give him the satisfaction, he has scored nine goals, made many assists. Let him play. If I had been Soriano, I would have told him off. With all due respect for the national team and Mancini."
