New Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic was delighted with victory over Inter Milan on debut.
Federico Santander scored the only goal of the game.
“It wasn't easy, but as I told the lads, the result wasn't interesting to me. If we won, that'd be better, but I wanted to see the performance," Mihajlovic told Sky Sport Italia.
“Inter only had a couple of chances in the first half, while our tempo dropped after the break, but we all worked together under pressure.
“I am happy, as this proves what you can do with courage – you can beat Inter at San Siro. If we don't win next Sunday against Genoa, though, then it's all a waste.
“I was glad that even after those two early errors in which we ran a big risk of going behind, the lads didn't get scared and they kept going with the right attitude."
