Bologna chairman Joey Saputo won't shut the door on signing Liverpool outcast Mario Balotelli.

However, Saputo is adamant any deal won't be done for "marketing" purposes.

"It's not like you can take a player only for marketing. It has to make sense for the team," argued Saputo.

"This is a job for the sports director."

He added: "It is the work of the ds, I'll let him decide and our coach."
