Incoming Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is expected to soon return to London for talks with managing director Marina Granovskaia and chairman Bruce Buck regarding their futures.
The Telegraph says Boehly flew into London last week to sign the purchase agreement to buy Chelsea from Roman Abramovich and attended the Wolverhampton Wanderers game, where he was pictured speaking with chairman Buck.
Granovskaia also held discussions with Boehly before he returned to America, but, with the part-owner of the LA Dodgers scheduled to return to London, more detailed talks over the positions and the futures of the pair will take place ahead of a decision.
Chelsea, Boehly and Raine, the merchant bank in charge of the sale, worked around the clock on the purchase agreement last week, with an announcement finally being made in the early hours of Saturday morning - demonstrating how little sleep people had and the need to refresh before engaging in detailed talks about future plans.
Granovskaia and Buck are expected to attend Saturday's FA Cup final against Liverpool, with Boehly also potentially in attendance at Wembley with members of his consortium.
