Boca Juniors are keen on Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo.
Currently on-loan at Inter Milan, Osvaldo came close to joining Juventus on Monday and remains on the outer at the Nerazzurri.
Boca president Daniel Angelici wants to bring Osvaldo back to Argentina, but needs to convince coach Rodolfo Arruabarrena about the deal.
Arruabarrena is unsure about adding the controversial striker to his squad.
For their part, Southampton would be happy to see a deal done - as would Inter.
