Boca Juniors sporting director Nicolas Burdisso insists Daniele de Rossi is staying.

Roma great De Rossi has been linked with a coaching post within Italy's national teams.

“Daniele came to Argentina to play for Boca because it was his wish," Burdisso said at a Press conference.

“He's had some bad luck with injuries, but his commitment and status aren't up for discussion.

“We hope to have him back playing as soon as possible. We have a solid base and that allows us to think positively, always in an economic and social context of an unstable country."
