Boca Juniors have confirmed that loanee Alexis Mac Allister is not going back to Brighton this month.

The Premier League side wanted Mac Allister to return early from his one year long deal.

But Boca, who have been very impressed by the player, have said no.

Their president Jorge Amor Ameal spoke about the situation with Radio Nacional in Argentina.

Ameal said: "Mac Allister will keep playing until June.

"Then we will speak to people from the English team, who were at our match on Sunday at La Bombonera.

"This has all got to happen."
