FC Dallas are believed to be targeting Guillermo Barros Schelotto to fill their vacant head coaching position.
The 40-year old Argentine, of Gimnasia La Plata, Boca Juniors and Columbus Crew fame, is at the head of the Texan clubs list according to ESPN FC and FutbolMLS.
Schelotto is the current boss of homeland club Lanus but it has been reported that FCD have made plans to pursue him as Schellas Hyndman's replacement.
However, Schelotto has led Lanus to the final of the Copa Sudamericana - where they are tied 1-1 with Brazil's Ponte Preta - as well as booking a spot in the 2014 Copa Libertadores and they currently sit second in Argentina's Torneo Inicial suggesting he may want to remain in the district of Greater Buenos Aires to achieve further success with Granate.
