Former Tottenham and Barcelona striker Kevin-Prince Boateng has sung the praises of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

Boateng played for Klopp at Borussia Dortmund in 2009 for six months.

The Fiorentina striker told Foot Mercato: "He knows how to captivate you. I don't know how he does it, but he manages. I don't think there is a player at Liverpool who doesn't like him. Even those who don't play.

"It was the same in Dortmund, and that's what makes it special. This is the reason why all the teams will give everything for him. He's a great guy and also a great trainer. Most of the time, you're just one or the other. Klopp simply has both."
