George Boateng insists Hull City's millionaire players are desperate to keep the club in the Premier League.

"The manager is asking that we give all we have and he cannot fault us for trying because he knows if we do that, we have a chance," Boateng said.

"People look at the Premier League players with their cars and their houses and whatever and think that is all we are about. But out there, when you are fit playing, sweating, giving everything with the lads, that's what we are paid for and I am enjoying it. I love it."
