Former Holland and Ajax coach Danny Blind says Donny van de Beek should be starting for Manchester United.

The former Ajax star didn't get on the pitch for yesterday's 0-0 draw with Chelsea.

Blind says he cannot understand Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's decision to exclude Van de Beek.

He stated, “What was he [Van de Beek] signed for? I listened to Solskjaer's press conference and he had nothing but praise for Donny. Yet he did not even give him a brief cameo.

“He bought him to beef up the squad. Why not use that squad depth?"
