Former PSG coach Laurent Blanc has spoken of his row with Serge Aurier before he left for Tottenham.

Aurier slammed Blanc in a Periscope rant - but kept his place after demands from management.

Blanc recalled: "The coach decides everything. The club did not want to punish him. They were very worried about the upcoming Chelsea Champions League clash. We will see him play and so? The coach has his hands free. But you have to show character. I guess it's just as complicated in Barcelona, Manchester City.

"There may be diverging opinions, but the most important thing is the institution."
