Blackpool are ready to break their wage ceiling to sign Everton striker James Vaughan.
The Mirror says Blackpool are ready to make Everton striker Vaughan their best-paid player in a loan deal - with a view to a full-time switch.
The newly-promoted club's chairman Karl Oyston is digging deep to give Vaughan a contract worth £10,000-a-week, plus appearance money, and hopes to sign him today.
Everton boss David Moyes was keen to sell Vaughan, 22, but is willing to allow a loan deal with the possibility of a permanent transfer to Blackpool next summer.
