Valencia midfielder Stephen Sunday is available on-loan at Blackpool.
The Spain U21 international is currently trialling at Bloomfield Road.
Seasiders boss Ian Holloway explained: "We've only got 15 or 16 players in our squad, so we've got up to ten places to fill as well as bringing some younger ones from abroad on loan (clubs are allowed an unlimited pool of under-21s).
"The lad in midfield at Crewe (Sunny) is that sort of ilk."
