Former Newcastle United and Southampton striker Nile Ranger is set to sign for crisis club Blackpool.
Ranger had also been interesting Leeds United.
Ranger, 23, left Swindon Town in May after his contract was mutually terminated.
He has been in talks with the club and spent Thursday at Bloomfield Road.
