Blackpool boss Ian Holloway wants to deal in Marlon Harewood.
The Mirror says Holloway will have talks with Harewood on Monday about joining Blackpool.
The striker is available on a free transfer after leaving Aston Villa.
The 30-year-old has been on trial at the promoted Seasiders since the start of the week, where Blackpool boss Holloway has been impressed with Harewood's fitness, hunger and willingness to muck in with the squad.
But personal terms could be a stumbling block with Blackpool capping their wages at £10,000 a week.
